The beginning of the adventure: Simsim and the search for the little treasure
The little yellow chick Simsim woke up on a bright morning inside the green farmyard, distinguished by his soft, bright feathers and his gentle curiosity to explore every corner among the hay piles and the garden fence.
While he was pecking the damp ground in search of his favorite seeds near the mulberry tree, he spotted something shining with a warm sparkle under the sunlight filtering through the branches, so he approached with eager steps to discover a huge golden grain of wheat that was larger than the usual grains he was accustomed to seeing every day.
Simsim tried to roll the precious grain by himself to take it to his mother in the nest before nightfall, but the weight of the grain and the slope of the soft ground caused it to slip and settle inside a small stone cavity between two slanted rocks.
Overcoming the obstacle: when friends gather to help the chick
Simsim stood confused, looking at the grain of wheat stuck between the rocks, and tried to pull it with his small beak several times without success until he felt tired and sat next to the rock, showing signs of sadness and surrender on his face.
At that moment, a delicate duckling passed by, swaying with her measured steps, and kindly asked him what was bothering him. Simsim explained to her what happened to his golden grain, and she replied with a smile that individual effort might make things difficult, while cooperation makes it easy and enjoyable.
The two friends gathered and began to devise a clever plan; the duckling used a small branch to loosen the soil around the stone, while Sesame steadied his feet to gently pull the grain as soon as it moved, and with a joint effort and complete harmony, the grain of wheat emerged from the cavity to settle safely on the green grass.
